A mixture of low impact aerobic exercises, strength and toning work using the resistance of water for maximum fitness improvements. Aquacise puts less strain on the bones, joints and muscles.
Pilates with Elaine Hall
Mondays 10am-11am & Wednesday 6-7pm
Using the original exercises and principles created by founder Joseph Pilates, Pilates aims to correctly align and strengthen the body through low impact, precise and controlled movement with emphasis on engaging the abdominal ‘core’ muscles. Protecting the spine, improving muscle strength and tone, joint flexibility, balance and coordination. Additionally, focusing on breathe awareness in practice brings about a calm mind, relieving stress and tension.
Yoga with Abi McKnight
Mondays 2pm-3pm and Wednesdays 10am-11am
The practice of yoga makes the body strong and flexible; it also improves the functioning of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive, and hormonal systems. Yoga brings about emotional stability and clarity of mind.
Meditation with Miranda Hansford
Tuesdays from 2pm
Meditation Therapy can be a very effective form of stress relief; focusing awareness upon the breath, movement & visualization to promote health, healing, creativity, clarity of mind & a sense of peace.
